How accurate mock admission round results are ?

JACPC decided to have one mock admission round as admissions are online,so no one have to spend behind transport to ahmedabad etc.

It is nice to have idea about exact status about that year's merit and position of rankers.Also with mock admission student is able to decide whether he or she should apply for management quota or not.

Mock admissions are not cent percent accurate.You may think every student must have choosen which branch and college he/she wants.But this is not true everytime.

Many factors affect it.If you not getting a branch in mock admissions no one can say that you won't get it in actual admission process though the mock admission round is being help by official admission committee it self.Because committee can have control on admission process,dates etc .but they do not have control over students' choice,mind ,region etc. factors.A student can change his mind in between.

So we can't say that mock admission round is damn accurate and real round will be mirror image of it.Because just one seat can change everything.For example a student has decided to take admission in Computer Engineering in xyz college.In mock round he gets admission in the xyz college and in same branch.Luckly he gets admission in his wanted branch and college.But it's mock admissions.

When the real admission comes he was more lucky and he got one more option IT branch of some high reputed college than xyz college.He decided to go with IT branch and the reputed college.This made one new seat(actually he is shifting his admission) for less merit students than him.So on occur of many such cases you will see a large difference in mock admission results and actual admission results.
