CBSE student reservation in Gujarat Board colleges

    I want to know that what is the reservation ratio in Gujarat colleges after 12th standard who is cleared Exam with 70% from CBSE board from Rajasthan.
    Also i want to know what is the same ratio all over the india.

    Please refer below note for 2009 from official committee

    Eligibility for Admission.-
    (1) For the purpose of admission, a candidate shall have passed the
    qualifying examination from,-
    (i) The Gujarat Board; or
    (ii) The Central Board of Secondary Education Board provided that,-
    (a) the school in which the candidate has studied, should have
    been located in the State of Gujarat; or
    (b) the school in which the candidate has studied, should have
    been located in the Union Territories of Diu, Daman and Dadra
    Nagar Haveli and whose parents are origin of Gujarat, or
    (iii) The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi
    provided that,-
    (a) the school in which the candidate has studied, should have
    been located in the State of Gujarat; or the school in which the
    candidate has studied, should have been located in the Union
    Territories of Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli and whose
    parents are origin of Gujarat, and
    (iv) Appeared in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test conducted in the
    current academic year,-
    In case of,-
    (a) a degree in engineering or technology course, passed
    with “A- group ” or “AB-group”;
    (b) a degree or diploma in pharmacy course, passed with
    “B-group” or “AB-group”.
    (2) A candidate whose parents are origin of Gujarat and who are serving
    out of Gujarat in the service of Central Government or other State
    Governments, Military, Boards or Corporations own or controlled by the
    Central Government or other State Governments or any nationalized bank
    and who have passed the qualifying examination from Central Board of
    Secondary Education or the Council of Indian School Certificate
    Examinations, New Delhi or the respective State Boards and appeared in
    the Gujarat Common Entrance Test conducted in the current academic
    year shall be eligible for admission and his candidature shall be included
    in the first merit list (Gujarat Board Merit List).
    (3) A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination and,-
    (i) has appeared in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test conducted in
    the current academic year; and
    (ii) whose parents are serving in the category of service as shown
    below; and
    (iii) who are transferred from other States to Gujarat and have resumed
    their duty in the place where they are transferred in Gujarat shall
    be eligible for admission and his candidature shall be included in
    the second merit list (Central Board Merit List):
    Category of Service: -
    a) Officers or Employees of Central Government; or
    b) Officers or Employees of Public Sector Undertakings of Central
    Government and State Government; or Officers or Employees of
    nationalized banks; or
    c) Officers or Employees of United Nations, UNICEF, World Health
    Organization and such other International Institutions located in
    Gujarat State; or
    d) Officers or Employees of Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police
    Service, Indian Forest Service of Gujarat Cadre working in Gujarat
    or working in other States on deputation from Gujarat; or
    e) Officers or Employees of Gujarat Government posted outside
    Gujarat State for administrative reasons.
    A candidate who has,-
    a) Studied under Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme upto Standard
    VIII in any of the schools located in the State of Gujarat,
    b) Thereafter studied in any of the schools located out of the State of
    Gujarat under the said scheme,
    c) passed qualifying examination from a Navodaya Vidyalay located
    outside Gujarat State and
    d) appeared in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test conducted in the
    current academic year
    shall be eligible for admission and his candidature shall be included in
    the second merit list (Central Board Merit List).
    A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination after appearing in
    the supplementary examination conducted by the Board shall not be eligible
    for admission in the current academic year.

    If its applicable then you are eligible first.

    We want to know that out of all degree engineering seats available in Gujarat, how many seats are available for CBSE board student of Gujarat School & Gujarat origin ?

    Distribution of Seats between Students of Gujarat Board and Other
    Boards.- For the purpose of admission, the available seats shall be
    distributed between students of the Gujarat Board and other Boards on
    pro-rata basis, taking into consideration the number of students passed
    from the Gujarat Board and other Boards, in the relative academic year.

    Are there any fixed guidelines for deciding the seats available for CBSE-Gujarat Based students foradmission in Engineering in Gujarat ? If yes , please let us know.
