How low result and ban for A group students in pharmacy will affect your admission ?
First let us consider A group students' ban in Pharmacy admission.Very
few percentage of A group students who are interested in pharmacy admission, this
year they can not take admission in pharmacy and the thing is known since
they choose the groups i.e. their 11th standard
So looking to the situation student has choosen A group after knowing he can not opt pharmacy. So right now A group means students who are only interested in engineering.
This confirms that whoever is in A group he/she will rush for engineering. So it will make an increment in merit cutoff marks.
On another side average result is lower than last year.Means this batch has not achieved that well as last batch did. This will be a reason to go cutoff marks down in perticular college or branch
But this effect won't be much bigger as No Admission in Pharmacy thing is there to oppose this low result.
So there will be decrement of hardly 3-4 marks around about merit range of 60-80%
It should be noted that Final cutoff marks will be decreased as many new seats and colleges are coming up.
Surity for admission in perticualr branch/college depends on thinking , interest , region of students having merit higher than you.
Still analysing results district wise helps us a lot to decide what may happen at the time of admission.
